The Family Law Company supports FORCE Santa Cycle

The FORCE Santa Cycle is back on Saturday 19th November 2022 but with a twist!

The traditional Topsham to Exmouth route remains but there is NOW the option to ride in the opposite direction.

Riders will cycle six miles from Topsham Rugby Club to Exmouth along the stunning Exe Estuary Trail, starting at 11am.

Those choosing the second option will set out from Exmouth Rugby Club at 12:30pm and finish on Topsham Quay.

Exeter is welcoming a new and exciting food event this summer! FEAST FEST (The Big Summer Blow Out) will be exploding on to the foodie scene this June – on the weekend of 15th and 16th and is being held in the grounds of the well-known Topsham Rugby Club.

This aptly named event is a charity fundraiser for Topsham Rugby Club who hope to raise enough money to provide their 500 + members with flood lighting to enable them to train at their clubs facilities all year round.

Knockout day at Topsham raises vital funds

Teams from across the area took part in a day of fun and games at FORCE Cancer Charity’s third annual It’s A Knockout event.

More than 300 people tackled a series of challenges at Topsham Rugby Club including giant inflatable obstacles, water slides and foam-filled bouncy games.

It’s one of the most colourful events on the local fundraising calendar with all the teams in fancy dress.

The winners were The Wild Neon Knights from Exeter, captained by Becky Turner.

It’s a Knock Out is returning to Exeter this year in aid of FORCE Cancer Charity on Saturday 2nd September at Topsham Rugby Club.

Come and take part in this amazing day – teams of 10 are needed to take part.

The entry will be capped at 72 teams – 720 participants who must be over 17 years of age.

Twelve wet and dry obstacles will be used in the games to jump over, jump through and run around!

All you need to bring is a sense of humour, fancy dress, a tent, a mascot and a joker!!!

Get in the Christmas spirit on FORCE Santa Cycle

There are still places available on this year’s FORCE Cancer Charity Santa Cycle on Saturday November 26.

One hundred cyclists in Santa suits will ride from Topsham to Exmouth on the Exe Estuary Trail and return via boat.

The cost is £15 for adults and £7.50 for children under 16 to include a wear-and-keep Santa suit.

The ride, sponsored by Bike Shed and Stuart Line Cruises, starts from Topsham Rugby Club at 12:30pm.

The cruise back up the estuary aboard the Pride of Exmouth leaves at 2pm with hot drinks and mince pies on board.

A knockout day of charity fun

It’s A Knockout is coming back to raise money for FORCE Cancer Charity and there are still team places available for the fiesta of fun on Saturday September 3 at Topsham Rugby Club.

Up to 72 teams of 10 will be taking part in games based on the popular TV show with huge, colourful inflatables, crazy costumes, comical props, water and plenty of bubbles.

The 2015 event was a great success as businesses, clubs and groups of friends tackled the 12-game spectacular in fancy dress costumes including cavemen, Hawaiian hula dancers, bumblebees and Minions.

A couple who met on FORCE Cancer Charity’s Nello bike ride have just celebrated the birth of their first child.

Refreshment stop volunteer Tracy Sanders and cyclist Roland Wainwright first set eyes on each other over bananas and bottled water at the Tiverton Rugby Club feed station in 2014.

“I’ve been helping with the FORCE bike ride for the past seven years and I was always joking that maybe I could find myself a nice cyclist,” said Tracy.

Ladies Rugby 'Pitch Up and Play'

Topsham ladies rugby team are looking to recruit new members.

Ladies (18+) come along and try some non-contact rugby at their 'Pitch up and Play' session on Wed 29th June 7- 8 pm.

The session will involve fitness and some basic rugby drills (non-contact).

It's an ideal opportunity to come down, meet the team, make new friends.
