The Devon Venus Business Women Awards 2015 officially opened for nominations at a glamorous launch party in Exeter last night (21st May 2015).

Local business men and women were welcomed at Exeter Castle by event organisers Celia Delaney of SpeakingSuccess and Alexis Bowater of Bowater Communications.

The awards aim to celebrate and recognise the achievements of the county’s working women and entrepreneurs.

The Bishop Fleming offices in Exeter played host to the Venus Awards sponsorship.

Businesses across the region were invited to hear about the Venus Awards 2015, which were specifically created to recognise and reward local women in business.

The Venus Awards National Final takes place on the 23 January.

The Devon Regional winners will compete against more than a hundred other Venus Award Winners from around the country. This sold out event is being held at the Audleys Wood HandPicked Hotel in Basingstoke.

WINNERS of this year’s Natwest Venus Awards Devon were celebrating last night after one of the most glittering events in the annual business calendar.

More than 350 people enjoyed the event at Exeter University’s Great Hall with winners whittled down to the 14 categories from more than 2,000 nominations in the county this year.

The finalists for this year’s Natwest Venus Awards Devon were announced this week at a sumptuous cream-tea event.

Venus Awards announce semi finalists

Excitement is building for this year’s Natwest Venus Awards Devon with the announcement of the semi-finalists at a packed awards ceremony in Exeter.

More than a hundred women attended the event at the city’s award-winning restaurant Lloyd’s Kitchen, which provided complementary canapés for the nominees and has supported the awards from the beginning.
