The second half of 2022 is looking very busy and exciting for West Country comedy star and Plymouth Theatre Royal Panto Legend Andy Ford.

He is about to launch into the Autumn leg of his Back in the Saddle Live Comedy Tour around the South West, including shows in Plymouth on 18th September, Torpoint on 23rd September and his home city of Exeter on Sunday 2nd October.

Four popular holiday parks in Devon and Cornwall have been acquired by major operator Park Holidays UK – and the company has pledged that their unique identities will remain unchanged.

The four are among nine holiday parks operated by Bridge Leisure, now part of Park Holidays UK.

Welcomed into the group are Devon's Hedley Wood holiday park in Holesworthy, and Cornwall's Seaview Village in Polperro, Trevella Park in Newquay, and Hengar Manor in Bodmin.

Devon parks declare two-month extension to holiday year

Four popular holiday parks in Devon will be offering families two extra months of staycations this year, say owners Park Holidays UK.

Instead of shutting as usual after this October's half-term, the four seaside holiday parks will continue welcoming guests until the week before Christmas.

Exeter Airport announces Exeter-Belfast City Airport route

Exeter Airport is to see the introduction of a service to Belfast City Airport from 28 August 2020 it was announced today.

Stobart Air, operator of Aer Lingus Regional, will base five ATR72-600 aircraft at Belfast City Airport.

The airline will operate up to 4 weekly return flights from Exeter Airport to Belfast City Airport this autumn with fares starting from £34.99 one way including taxes.

Five local community groups across ITV West Country West are set to compete for up to £50,000 of National Lottery funding each. The People’s Projects is giving these groups a chance to go head to head compete in a public vote to help them make an extraordinary difference to their community.

The South West of England is home to some of Brits' ultimate “happy places”, according to a new study.

New research from SACO, The Serviced Apartment Company polled UK holidaymakers to discover the places in the UK which evoke special memories and ultimately make us “happy”.
