On the 9th December Bird & Blend Tea Co. Exeter store will remain open after hours for its Christmas Extravaganza Lock-in…for any Christmas Elves keen on experiencing moments of magic whilst tea tasting.

The after-hours event will takeplace at 12 of its stores. Guests all over the country will suddenly find they havewarm hands, warm hearts and are filled with festive spirit. Events will take place at Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, London, Manchester, Norwich, Nottingham and Oxford.

Devon-based Azu Spirits have launched an exciting new gin and whisky tasting experience across the South West, just in time for summer.

Azu is partnering with venues and holiday homes across the South West to offer premium tasting experiences to private parties, businesses, and events. The blind tasting showcases six distinct Scottish single malt whiskies or British gins. Wine-lovers of Exeter unite! On Saturday 20th June the Great Hall of Exeter University will be transformed into a wine wonderland - the highlight of every wine-lover’s calendar. The Three Wine Men South West Wine Festival with a Splash of Spirits (plus other delicious West Country drinks) in partnership with South West Wine School will be hosted by the legendary Oz Clarke OBE, the Sunday Telegraph’s drinks’ expert Susy Atkins and, the new face to watch on the wine scene, Tom Surgey.

Laithwaite’s wine tasting event at Rougemont Hotel

Laithwaite’s Wine is holding a wine tasting event at the Rougemont Hotel in Exeter on March 25.

The event will give ticket holders the chance to taste over 30 wines and talk to many wine professionals.

Those attending the event will receive their own tasting glass on arrival to keep, which they can use throughout the session.

Representatives from wineries across the world will make an appearance at the event including those from Spain, Australia and New Zealand.
