Cofton Country Holidays, the multi award-winning holiday park near Dawlish, South Devon, has received official confirmation that it will receive one of the highest accolades in the world of camping and caravanning at the AA’s Caravan and Camping Awards on 20th March.
The holiday park, which has 450 caravan and tent pitches, including over 50 hardstanding pitches, will receive its AA 5 Pennant Gold accreditation at the official ceremony and could be in line for one of two other awards, which include AA Regional Campsite of the Year for the South West and AA Campsite of the Year....

Cofton Country Holidays, located near Starcross, has this week handed over its latest charity cheque of the year bringing the total amount raised by staff, visiting guests and through Cofton’s charitable sponsorships to well over £6,000.
Mike Elsey of Devon Wildlife Trust and Nora, the charity’s wild beaver population fundraising mascot, accepted the latest cheque for £260.80 from Cofton Country Holidays’ Directors Mellony Kirby and Helen Scott.

The pretty South Devon coastal town of Dawlish is readying itself for walkers of all ages and abilities as its inaugural walking festival gets ready to ramble from the start of April.
Lasting ten days and commencing on 1st April, the festival will offer more than 30 walks, most of which are free to join.
