We are a community owned Store, Bakery & Café based in Paris Street, near the Exeter Bus Station. We sell a large range of wonderful local food and drink.
We aim to give you an enjoyable, alternative and local shopping experience in the centre of Exeter. We are your urban farm shop providing you with every day essentials from local producers including bread, dairy products, meat, fruit, veg, wine, beer & store cupboard items.
The Real Food Store is Exeter’s first community owned food business. Shoppers can buy fresh local produce grown, reared or prepared in the surrounding countryside; real artisan bread baked daily and enjoy refreshments in the café that serves simple, delicious food with an emphasis on local and seasonal.
What makes the Real Food Store even more exciting is that it is a social enterprise, set up with capital invested by members of the community who have bought shares. It's about community ownership: this is your store. The Real Food Store offers good, fresh food and drink from sustainable sources at an honest price.
