See the Mill's rare 19010 Pollit and Wigzell 300hp steam engine, 1867 Kittoe and Brotherhood Beam Engine and Lancashire Boiler operating under steam. And, not forgetting the fully restored Water Wheel built especially for the mill in 1821. A fantastic event and an amazing experience.

On Steam Up days, the engines run between 11am and 4pm.

The shop and restaurant are open from 10.30am.

Tours of the mill are also available on these days where you can see the process of turning combed worsted tops into knitting yarn on Victorian period spinning and twisting frames. Weaving can also be seen on Hattersley shuttle looms.
