Marco Makes Mums Feel Special This Mothering Sunday
Families wanting to treat their mum to a meal put together by the Godfather of modern cooking should make their way to Marco’s New York Italian in Exeter this Mothering Sunday.
That’s because the one dubbed the original ‘enfant terrible’ has devised a sumptuous three-course meal that is set to make all mums feel extra special.
Available on 30 March, the team at the Clyst Honiton-based restaurant is now gearing up for what is going to be a fun and relaxing day for the whole family while mums can sit back and take it easy.
For starters there’s a choice between a delicious spiced parsnip and apple soup or freshly made prawn cocktail.
Mains are just as tantalising and includes Pork Belly Stuffed with Basil, Roasted Garlic and Olive Tapenade served on Mixed Bean Cassoulet; Chicken Cacciatore with Home Made Rustic Olive Bread; Pan Fried Salmon on a warm Salad of shaved Fennel, Courgette and Red Peppers with Seafood Both; Italian Baked Vegetables topped with Passata, Buffalo Mozzarella and Basil.
No visit to Marco’s is complete without a scrumptious dessert and the choice of either Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Gelato or Apple Pie with a Cinnamon Cream is sure to hit the mark.
The three-course meal costs £19.99 per person.
The restaurant is also offering a special Mother’s Day package of £99 for four dining from the special menu including an overnight stay for two in the Hampton by Hilton hotel to be redeemed within six months.
