Brother farms Shillingford Organics and West Town Farm are launching a series of Food @ the Farm events this year.

This is your chance to come out to the farm, see how good food is produced and also eat some of our delicious produce all cooked up and prepared for you by a professional chef!

The Bluebell Brunch is our first Food @ the Farm event, we thought as the bluebells started to pop out that it would be nice to give everyone a chance to see them on a guided walk and you can't beat a good brunch on a Sunday morning so the two should be combined.

Sebastien Planchon will be chef for the day and he's excited to be showcasing some of our amazing produce. Seb trained under the two Michelin starred Michael Caines at his restaurant, Abode, in the heart of Exeter. Seb has also worked at several other local dining hot spots including Jack in the Green at Rockbeare, the Rusty Pig in Ottery St. Mary and River Cottage, near Axminster.

Seb likes bringing food to the table with fewest food miles and maximum flavour! His menu of West Town Farm Meat and Shillingford Organics vegetables for the Bluebell Brunch is:

Welcome snack (pre-walk) - Drop scone with local honey & cinnamon

Brunch - West Town Farm sausages & bacon, poached Shillingford eggs, root vegetable rosti & spiced greens

Vegtarian Brunch - Shillingford poached eggs, root vegetable rosti's, spiced greens and grilled purple sprouting broccoli

Children's option - Either the same but smaller version of the adult menu or wholemeal pancakes with rhubarb,strawberries & honey

Brunch and a guided walk is £10 for an adult and £5 for a child.
