The site of Exeter Cathedral has a lot of history to it! It was once part of a Roman fortress, then there was a Saxon minster, a Norman Cathedral, and most recently a Gothic Cathedral! Find out the different parts ofExeter’s history by visiting our giant timeline in the Cathedral. Try on costumes from that particular era, and make a Roman, Saxon, Norman and Medieval craft to take home with you.
