A coffee morning raising funds for the Exeter GirlGuiding HQ refurbishment of Trefoil Lodge. 

Cake, books, draw, 10am-noon.

Each district has been challenged to raise over £250 and the Exeter district is doing the “All Change Please”  where each girl/leader has been given a container and asked to fill it with loose change. These pots will returned during the week commencing 28th September. 

At the coffee morning the Guides willl make a large Trefoil shape on the floor of the hall.

Trefoil Lodge was purchased by Exeter Division Girlguiding in the 1990’s and was refurbished at that time. It has been used frequently by Girlguiding and community groups. Recently, it has become tired and dated, and no longer fit for purpose. The plan is to demolish part of the building and rebuild with 2 storeys. This will provide meeting rooms and opportunities for residential events. There will also be more toilets installed and a disabled toilet and wet room. The project will cost in the region of £150,000 more than the grants and fundraising we have managed to secure within the Division.
