Crediton Christmas Tree Festival
Crediton, the birth place of St Boniface, who according to legend invented the Christmas Tree, stages its ninth Christmas Tree Festival at Crediton Parish Church in early December.
Decorated and illuminated Christmas Trees, from six to twenty feet in height, are all decked out in many imaginatives ways by local charities, children's groups and organisations will fill the church providing a spectacular display especialy as the natural light fades during the afternoons. Stalls, refreshments, church tours.
This is a community event suitable for all ages. This is a major fund raising event towards the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of this largely 15th century Grade 1 listed building.
Opening times: 11am - 6pm on Thursday and Friday, 10.30am-7pm on Saturday and 2pm-5pm on Sunday.
Free admission.
A festive concert will follow the festival on Saturday evening at 7.30pm for which there will be a small charge.
