Exeter Walk for blood cancer research
This is a beautiful ten-mile walk along the Exe Estuary Trail starting at Exeter Quay and finishing at Exmouth.
The walk is flat and mainly on public footpaths or cycling trails and so it is ideal for families and a range of abilities. As the walk is along the Exe there are various train stations en route, so the walk can be shortened if desired. Puffing Billy in Exton are kindly allowing use of their pub as a lunch stop and a rest.
There are frequent buses and trains back to Exeter along the route to Exmouth.
Entry fees:
Adults: £15
Children: £5
This includes your own Bloodwise t-shirt which you can pick up on the day.
The money raised from this walk will go towards blood cancer research charity Bloodwise and will help fund research into better treatments and cures for the disease, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
