The Feast of St James Charter Fayre was originally granted to Tiverton by King Henry III in 1257 to be held in July during the Feast of St James celebrations.  The Tiverton Portas Team are bringing this Fayre back to Tiverton!

Saturday 19 July, Medieval Charter Fayre

There will be traditional craft and artisan stalls in the town centre in Fore Street leading to the Tiverton Pannier Market as well as street food and craft demonstrations.  The Fayre also offers entertainment for all the family with street music, magicians, juggling acts, medieval games and many traditional re-enactments.

Saturday 19 July, Medieval Banquet

On the Saturday evening there will be a Medieval Banquet with a hog roast, buffet and bar selling local ales and lots of live music and medieval themed entertainment.  Costume is optional.  Ticket only entry at £25 per person (includes food and entertainment).  Contact: dawnchilcott@btconnect.com.

Sunday 20 July, Food and Beer Festival

Tiverton Pannier Market will host day two of this fun event with a food and beer festival.  Continuing the medieval theme, there will be a range of delicious local artisan produce, tasty street food and plenty of beer for you to try.
