Killerton Classic Car Day
Get into gear this summer admiring 400 vintage vehicles at Killerton’s Classic Car Day on the National Trust estate just outside of Exeter.
On Sunday 13 May, over 400 classic car enthusiasts will be taking a pit stop in the historic parkland to showcase their pride and joy. Visitors can enjoy the live music of vintage trio Liberty Sisters who will perform on their quirky stage, a vintage 1950’s yellow truck called buttercup; as well as The Sundogs who will put a spring in everyone’s step with their up-tempo, classic rock'n'roll with rhythm and blues.
There will also be a craft fair with over 40 stalls and opportunities to refuel from any of the local food stalls, including camper coffee, the Teign Canteen and Lemon Jelli. Adults can enjoy sampling Killerton estate cider at the bar, while kids can let off steam on the bouncy castle.
The Panasonic Lumix Photography Roadshow will be coming along to give visitors top tips on taking the perfect shot as well as information about the latest Panasonic technology.
Entry to the event also includes access to the house, garden, parkland and Killerton’s cafes and award-winning restaurant. Explorer maps are available on site for visitors to make the most of the vast estate.
