Milling Day
Otterton Mill celebrate National Mills Weekend with a special day of milling on Saturday 10th May.
This annual festival celebrates the UK's milling heritage, and provides the opportunity to visit mills all over the country.
Come and visit Otterton's mill in action, as it uses water power to produce a signature stoneground wholemeal flour, continuing in a 1,000-year old tradition. The milling is pure poetry in motion and leaves no carbon footprint! The millers are very happy to explain the milling process to you and answer any questions.
Milling times:
Two sessions: from 11am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 3pm.
Access to the Mill is free, although voluntary donations to the Mill's ongoing upkeep and maintenance are welcomed (donation boxes are sited by the milling areas).
