‘Tea in the Paddock’ a FREE family event at The Donkey Sanctuary

Intro: The Donkey Sanctuary will be holding a ‘Tea in the Paddock’ event to celebrate the launch of their new attractions for 2018.

When: Saturday 31 March from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

Where: The Donkey Sanctuary, Slade House Farm, Sidmouth, EX10 0NU

What: A fun-packed free day for all the family is promised to celebrate the launch of The Donkey Sanctuary’s new attractions for 2018 with a great programme of events including donkey grooming, trailer rides, live music from the Adam Moran Jazz Trio, Devon cream teas plus free ice creams for the children.

Visitors can explore the interactive exhibits in the brand new Exhibition Barn and discover how The Donkey Sanctuary works to improve the welfare of donkeys and mules around the world and the communities that rely on them.

Delicious, wholesome food will be available throughout the day from the new family-friendly restaurant, The Kitchen, while the new Gift Shop with donkey-design items to suit every pocket provides the perfect souvenir of the day.

No visit to The Donkey Sanctuary would be complete without meeting some of the hundreds of resident donkeys at the sanctuary, including giant Poitou donkeys, the adoption donkeys and the gorgeous miniature donkeys.

Over the Easter holidays, The Donkey Sanctuary has a daily programme of events to keep everyone entertained including guided tours, demonstrations and an eggciting Easter Egg hunt.

Entry and parking is free. Dogs on leads are welcome.
