Carnival day starts at 9am with an exhibition by Topsham Flower Club in St Margaret's Church. The theme is "wish you were here" and tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. The exhibition closes at noon.

From 10am there will be live jazz from Take a Train outside Matthews Hall.

From 2.30pm onwards the town criers competition takes place at the Globe Hotel.

The carnival timetable runs as follows:

5pm-6pm: Children's music  and games with DJ Regan, outside Matthews Hall.

5pm-7pm: Topsham Rock School, outside Chapel Platt.

6.30pm: Judging of carnival entries, in Elm Grove Road.

7.30pm: Carnival Procession starts.

9.15pm-11.30pm: Live music and dancing in the street, with Changes and DJ Regan, outside Matthews Hall.

9.30pm approx: grand prize draw.
