This year's Wonderworks Arts & Crafts Christmas Fair will be bursting with beautiful treats, handmade by local craftspeople from all over the South West. It’s a great place to buy unique and affordable Christmas gifts for everyone – and sit down for a nice cuppa and piece of cake too.

Now in its 11th year, Wonderworks has established itself as a craft fair of distinction. It’s a place where you can meet, and buy from, the people who have lovingly handmade the produce. It reconnects makers and buyers on a personal level – something you don’t get with large-scale manufacture.

This year 24 exceptional craftspeople are exhibiting everything from delicately-crafted silver jewellery to forged metal sculptures, exquisite textiles to hand-thrown ceramics and snuggly jumpers to beautiful woven baskets.

Alison West, Chagford ceramics artist said: “Wonderworks is a unique platform for makers, like me, to get our work ‘out there’. It’s a fun and friendly space that really nurtures local talent. We always look forward to showing off our new designs – and having a glass of wine when it's all over!”

You’ll get to see jewellers Alexandra Aurum and Sam Photic, ceramic artists Abigail North, Amy Cooper and Alison West, furniture-maker Chris Back and artist/blacksmith Spencer Field Larcombe – to name but a few.

This event will also support a Devon-based charity with a fundraising raffle where you could win several prizes, all made by the makers themselves.
