Charlie Dore
Best known as one of the UK’s most respected singer-songwriters, Charlie also enjoys a multi-faceted career that includes acting in film, TV and radio, comedy-improvisation, writing for radio and composition for film and TV.
Her material is an eclectic collection of genre-defying musical styles she describes as ‘borrowed from folk, country, Django Reinhardt and the Beatles’ and has won awards for it’s poetic lyrics.
Charlie will be playing alongside the multi-instrumentalist Julian Littman, of Steeleye Span.
An evening with this multi-award winning artist plus world music in glorious harmony from Exeter’s vibrant mixed choir led by Roz Walker.
