Albert Hammond has been writing hit songs for over forty years. Since the 1960s there has not been a single decade in which Albert has not written multiple hits songs, including more than 30 chart-topping hits and total sales in excess of 360 million! Now he is performing these songs himself.
His song writing talents have made so many great careers with songs like 'The Air that I Breathe' (The Hollies), 'When I Need You' (Leo Sayer) and 'One Moment in Time' (Whitney Huston). Albert's songs have also been recorded by such artists as Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Elton John, Joe Cocker, Diana Ross and Johnny Cash.
He also achieved number one hits himself with songs like 'It Never Rains In Southern California', 'Down By The River' and 'Free Electric Band'.
This is a rare chance to see one of the all time great songwriters - he was inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2008 - performing his greatest compositions live.
