With a unique voice that’s equal parts choirboy and soul boy, Andrew Montgomery made celestial waves in the Britpop era as frontman of Scottish band Geneva. Avoiding the laddish clichés of the era and aiming squarely at the sublime, Geneva scored four emotive Top 40 singles and two critically adored albums.

Since then, his seraphic three-octave voice has been criminally silent. But no more. On 5th October 2014, Andrew Montgomery releases his début solo album Ruled By Dreams.

Ruled By Dreams is a rich, swooning suite of space gospel music, pairing astonishing vocals, woozy soundscapes & lush orchestration with big hooks on a big canvas. It’s an album of fiercely individual songs which anatomise the shooting star arc of a passionate but doomed relationship, tenderly capturing its joy, sorrow, madness and, in the end, healing.
