A series of concerts hosted by acts who make up the Wren Music team and featuring some of the finest folk artists in the UK.

The next one ion the series promises a real treat for folk fans: On Friday June 12th 7.30pm Gavin Davenport and Tom Kitching are joined by Solarference, making a welcome return to the Cygnet.

Gavin and Tom are at the forefront of the new wave of English traditional folk music. Individually . Together, they specialise in delivering gutsy trad folk music with eclectic influences from English traditional to the weirder realms of rock their set bristles with energy and intelligence. “bold, imaginative and ambitious” Songlines

Solarference: Wren’s Sarah Owen is joined by Nick Janaway in this exciting electro folk duo: a genre-defying mix of live electronics and traditional folk song. ‘arresting, atmospheric and thrilling’ Roots

The concert promises to be a rich mix of folk song, all in all a great night with a relaxed atmosphere! Bar and refreshments available.
