Hijacked Festival
Hijacked Festival heads to enchanting Powderham Castle for its 2015 Exeter event
Historic venue hosts one-day celebration of music and arts
One-day music and culture festival Hijacked Festival has announced its venue for Saturday May 30th – the picturesque grounds of Powderham Castle, the 600-year old home of the Earl and Countess of Devon.
Exeter’s historic Powderham Castle, which stands in a beautiful deer park on the banks of the Exe estuary, plays host to the city’s second visit from Hijacked Festival – the nomadic electronic music and creativity-embracing experience that ‘hijacks’ idyllic city locations.
Catherine Crowe, Communications Manager at Powderham Castle said: “With the Exe Esturary as a stunning backdrop, Powderham Castle near Exeter, Devon, is the ideal location for this year’s Hijacked Festival. We’re excited to welcome festival goers to the grounds of the 600 year old Castle for what is going to be an exciting line up of music and the arts.”
An exciting lineup of electronic music and visual artists will be announced soon, and nearly 3000 tickets have already been sold.
