Sunday Skyclub, Moor Reason & Maz Totterdell
A fundraising event for Exeter’s community radio and sound alternative, Phonic FM.
Sunday Skyclub
The Sunday Skyclub are a 5 piece from Exeter, Devon. Combining their love of pop music and indie bands. Guaranteed to get you singing and dancing! (Or Humming). The band was formed in 2010 by brothers, Ed and George after previous projects together weren’t going in the right direction. The line up has settled now with friends Sean, Gemma and Alex. All coming from musical backgrounds and studying music, the band oozes natural ability and fun. This band is a force to be reckoned with if catchy pop songs, hard work and thirst for success have anything to do with it.
Moor Reason
MoorReason are Yvonne on vocals, Lee on guitar, Paul on bass, Dick on drums and Elaine on flute/mandolin all of whom bring an eclectric originality to their music and songs. As a team, they craft imaginative melodies & lyrics, and with their growing repertoire of original songs it will not be long before they carve a niche in the music scene.
Maz Totterdell
The teenage singer/songwriter’s debut single Counting My Fingers gained support from Sir Terry Wogan & Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 2, and every daytime BBC 6 Music DJ, both winning that station’s “Rebel Playlist” public vote and gaining the highest score on its new releases review show, Roundtable. The fragile, embryonic beauty of her solo girl-with-a-guitar live show has now blossomed with the small ensemble of musicians she’s put together.
Tickets £6.
