Long-time couple Sam and Molly are living happily in New York. On their way back to their apartment one night, they are mugged at gunpoint, leaving Sam murdered in the street. Sam realises he is trapped between this world and the next as a Ghost and desperately wanting to reconnect with Molly, who he finds out is in severe danger herself. With the help of storefront psychic Oda Mae Brown, Sam attempts to communicate with Molly again.
