Exeter Little Theatre Company proudly presents the Exeter premier for ‘the most hilarious comic evening in the theatre since Noises Off’ (The Stage). In the seaside town of Brighton in 1963, Francis Henshall has just been fired from his skiffle band. Despondent and desperate for fish and chips, Francis becomes separately employed by two men – Roscoe Crabbe, a local gangster, and Stanley Stubbers, an upper class criminal. As fate would have it, it turns out that Roscoe is really Rachel Crabbe in disguise, her twin brother Roscoe having been murdered by her lover, who is none other than Stanley Stubbers. In order to keep both his jobs, Francis must keep his two guvnors from discovering one another. Simple!
