Appeal after woman is stabbed in Tiverton

In the early evening of 29th August police attended the Old Railway Line, Cowleymoor, Tiverton, following a report that a 27 year old female had been stabbed at that location by a male known to her.

The female is currently receiving treatment and her injuries are not life threatening.

Enquiries are ongoing to locate the male. This was an incident between two people known to each other.
