And what do you do? I’m the Executive Director of the Exeter Northcott Theatre.

Describe Exeter in 5 words: A buzzing regional capital city.
What brought you to Exeter? The job here at the Exeter Northcott.
Which part of Exeter is home? The Northcott! I don’t actually live in Exeter I’m one of the 100,000+ people who commute in daily to work here.
What is your favourite place in Exeter? The beautiful grounds here on campus are great for a bit of peace.
Favourite Exeter event? Ignite Festival.
Last live event you saw in Exeter? Jammy Voo in Birdhouse here at the Exeter Northcott Theatre on Tuesday.
Favourite place to eat out? Dinosaur Cafe.
Best coffee in town? I don’t drink coffee but everyone tells me the coffee here at the theatre is great! For a café experience I’d go to Boston Tea Party.
Favourite pub? The Mill on the Exe.
Favourite locally produced food or drink? Sharpham Cheese & Wine.
Favourite shop? Exeter Exotics, the reptile shop.

Beach or moors? Moors
What or where is Exeter's best kept secret? The fact that there are 1,400 free parking spaces for visitors to the Theatre
What one change would you like to see in Exeter? Evening shopping to help create more of a buzz in the city at night.
Your local hero or heroine? Maurice Marshal, Chief Electrician at the Exeter Northcott Theatre from 1967 – 2009 – he started training future theatre technicians before anyone else came up with the idea and there is an enormous number of people in the theatre world who were inspired by him and will always remember him.
What are you up to next? We’re getting ready for our Summer School and work experience season.
