TripAdvisor award for Exeter Cathedral
Exeter Cathedral has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the third year running.
The Cathedral, currently rated highest amongst the city’s attractions according to TripAdvisor reviews, adds the accolade to a “2016 top-rated” award from Travelzoo and its quality-assured attraction status from the Devon Association of Tourist Attractions.
Commenting on the news the Cathedral’s Marketing Manager, Laurence Blyth, said: “We are extremely grateful to our visitors who have reviewed their experience of their time here, as well as the dedicated team of volunteers and staff who work tireless to welcome pilgrims and tourists to pray, worship and explore the Cathedral throughout the year. Exeter has some great places to visit and we're proud to be working with partners in the city and around the county to promote tourism in Devon.”
Admission to the Cathedral is free to local residents living within the EX1-EX4 postcode area. Free guided tours or audio guides are available to all visitors, and admission for children under 18 (within a family group) including a selection of trails and activities is also free.
