During recent years, activities have ranged from baking cakes to abseiling from buildings, that not only brought our colleagues together but in the name of an excellent cause! "

Despite the partnership ending, the employees of British Ceramic Tile are yet again collecting eggs for the Children’s ward at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital this Easter. Natalie continued saying: “Knowing that you are able to make a genuine difference to families going through the toughest of times has been a key driver for all of our activity. It has been a real honour to work with CLIC Sargent, Jordan and the team."

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Jordan Anderton said: “CLIC Sargent is extremely grateful for the ongoing hard work and support we have received from the House of British Ceramic Tile. The money they have raised will make a huge difference to the families we support.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Natalie, Hannah, Stephen and everyone involved with British Ceramic Tile for all your efforts.”

The money raised from the partnership could fund a room in one of CLIC Sargent’s Homes from Home for just over seven months.

CLIC Sargent Homes from Homes provide free self-catering accommodation near to specialist children’s cancer treatment centres, which are often many miles from a family’s own home.

Staying in a Home from Home ensures a family can not only be close to their child during treatment, but also elevates any financial concerns on where to stay. If they are well enough, the child or young person can stay there too.

These homes save families on average £2140 and the average stay in a CLIC Sargent Home from Home is 23 days.
