Top forensic accountant wins national award for a second year running
Milsted Langdon’s Forensic Partner, Roger Isaacs, is celebrating having once again been named the UK’s leading Forensic Accountancy professional at the Lawyer Monthly Expert Witness Awards.
Roger was honoured in the same category in 2019 and has consistently impressed judges at the prestigious legal awards with the depth and detail of his work within the industry.
Highly regarded by those with whom he works, Roger regularly gives expert evidence to courts in London, the South West of England and the Midlands, as well as acting in international cases. More recently during this lockdown period, Roger has given evidence in virtual hearings. He has recently been publishing his thoughts about the challenges of valuing unquoted businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Outside of his work at Milsted Langdon, Roger is the deputy chair of the MGI Worldwide global accountancy association, former Chair of the Forensic Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and National Technical Director for NIFA (Network of Independent Forensic Accountants).
His unique expertise has also seen him contribute to many articles for the national, local and trade press and he has appeared on BBC Radio a number of times.
Speaking about his latest win at the 2020 Lawyer Monthly Expert Witness Awards, Roger said: “It is a real honour to be recognised once again. Forensic accountants play a vital role in helping the courts and legal professionals access the evidence they require to support cases and it is gratifying to see that our profession is being celebrated.
“I would like to thank all those who support the fantastic work that the forensic accountancy team at Milsted Langdon undertake.”
