Courier firm scores with young soccer stars

Young footballers at one of the region’s junior clubs are the envy of the Exeter & District Youth Football League after being treated to a new kit, courtesy of a local courier company.

St Martin’s FC’s Under 14s and Under 13s teams have been given the strip by new sponsor, Deadline Distribution Services, based on Exeter's Marsh Barton Trading Estate.

The £1,200 sponsorship is now underway having kicked off at the start of this season and is already having an impact with the Club’s Under 14s team currently top of the league and also having success within the County Cups.

Deadline Distribution Services is part of the UK’s largest independent parcel network, APC Overnight and has been delivering parcels to over 250 customers across the region for 14 years.

Shaun McGahon, Managing Director at Deadline Distribution commented: “We’re pleased to be backing the local squads with our new sponsorship. We have a connection to the under 14 side as my son plays for them and we also wanted to lend a hand to the Under 13s who had not yet received sponsorship for this season. Both teams certainly look the part and we’re hoping the new kit helps them achieve success on the pitch.”
