Brand new care home opening in St Leonard’s to create 60 jobs

A brand new purpose-built care home soon to open in the St Leonard’s area of Exeter is set to create up to 60 jobs.

Escan Manor opening in early 2024 by Mora Living will provide a luxurious and friendly living environment, along with a real sense of community. The 72 en-suite bedrooms, arranged across three floors in small homely clusters will feature a wide selection of lounges and dining areas. The home will also include a cinema room, tearoom, hair and beauty salon, games room and central café bar with balcony views towards the River Exe and hills. Further views of the area can be enjoyed from the large balconies located around the home to maximise local views to the full.

The new care home will create a wide range of jobs for nurses, carers, activity coordinators, housekeeping and hospitality team members.
