Burts Chips announces sporting partnerships
Artisan snack producer Burts Chips has announced a series of sporting sponsorships for 2014 which will see the brand supporting sporting events.
Running throughout the current British Touring Car Championships (2014 season), Burts Chips is proud to be an official sponsor of the Motorbase Performance squad with branding for Burts Chips featuring across the Motorbase team helmet, along with prominent wing mirror branding of a touring car.
With 20.5 million UK TV viewers and 55 million people listening to the championships via the airwaves, the British Touring Car Championships is the UK’s premier race series. And with record trackside audiences totalling 373,000 visitors in 2013, the geographical spread of events at all of the country’s major sport venues provides a fantastic opportunity for nationwide engagement.
Kicking off at the start of the upcoming season (September 2014 – April 2015), Burts Chips also announces its sponsorship of the Exeter Chiefs, the West Country’s Premier Rugby Club.
In addition to sponsoring the team’s captain, Dean Mumm pictured), prominent branding for Burts will be visible alongside the perimeter boards on the touch lines at Sandy Park Stadium.
With 10 million UK viewers throughout the season and 11,000 spectator capacity at the stadium, sponsorship of the Exeter Chiefs offers Burts excellent nationwide exposure amongst their core demographic as well as generating wider brand awareness.
