"Brainfood" to boost funds for brain injury charity
*Warning: Graphic image* Only joking! Despite its gory appearance, this “brain” is actually a scrumptious Victoria sponge.
Made and donated by the kind, and incredibly talented, folks at Ullacombe Farm Shop and Café near Bovey Tracey, this deliciously devilish brain cake is going to be auctioned off to raise money for local people with brain injuries.
The auction will take place on Headway Devon’s Facebook page on Wednesday 30th October, so that the lucky winner will have their terrifying treat in time for Halloween. Bidding will open at 10am and close at 3pm.
Maybe you’re looking for something with real “wow” factor for a party, perhaps you want to both treat and startle your colleagues on “cake Friday,” or maybe you just want to channel your inner zombie – whatever your motivation, bidding on this cake will make a real difference to local people in need. Every penny that this auction raises will be used on Headway Devon’s frontline services supporting people with acquired brain injuries.
Follow Headway Devon on Facebook to make sure you don’t miss out on your chance to win this unique prize.
