Bringing Creativity to Every Child: Devon Charity Launches Campaign to Fund Life-Changing Arts Experiences
Devon-based arts charity Daisi is calling on the community to help bring the power of creativity to young people—especially those facing disadvantage—through an urgent fundraising campaign where every donation will be doubled.
With school budgets under increasing pressure, funding for arts and cultural education is often deprioritised, leaving many children without opportunities to explore their creativity.
Daisi’s work brings professional artists into schools and community spaces across Devon and Torbay, giving young people the chance to express themselves, build confidence, and develop life skills through extraordinary creative experiences.
From a child discovering their voice in a drama workshop to a teenager using visual art to process emotions, Daisi sees the impact of creativity every day. But with funding stretched, too many young people are missing out on these vital opportunities.
For one week only, through the Big Give Arts for Impact campaign, every donation made to Daisi’s campaign will be matched pound for pound, meaning each contribution will go twice as far in transforming young lives through the arts.
The campaign runs from March 18 to 25th, and Daisi is calling on businesses, schools, and individuals to get involved.
