ELF Day – we need YOUR HELP!
Exeter Leukaemia Fund are holding holding a street collection and awareness day in the High Street, Exeter on Saturday 30th November and are looking for people to help!
We need volunteers to don one of our lovely green tabards and stand at a given point along the High Street with one of our collection buckets to collect monetary donations from the public, reporting to a volunteer co-ordinator. The collection period will be 9am until 6pm, split into two hour shifts with slightly shorter shifts at lunch time.
Volunteers will be asked to thank members of the public who donate, but not to shout, rattle the bucket or approach anyone, all of which would be outside of the law!
We will need a considerable number of volunteers to make this happen and are looking for people to come to our rescue and help out! 30th November is also the day of the Exeter City FC Santa Dash so there will be lots of people in the city centre, making it a great opportunity to raise money for ELF!
