Model and photographer team up to help Royal Devon Hospitals charity
Photographer Jason Reading and model Ed Akay have been collaborating on creative projects for a number of years, enjoying countless publications and 20 plus magazine covers together (60 solo) worldwide so far. This year they decided to give something back after enjoying their successes.
Last year Jason’s immediate family received treatment from the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and with Ed’s sister being an NHS Doctor, working with an NHS charity seemed like a no brainer. The duo accordingly created a series of fine art products to be sold with 50% of the profit going to the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity, including a calendar showcasing a natural bodybuilding athlete in different poses “The Everyday Adonis Calendar”, as well as mugs, cups, bags, phone cases and canvas prints.
The collection is available from https://jasonreadingphotography.com/shop.
Ed Akay (Model) says: “As a passionate believer in our healthcare system working with the NHS was a natural choice for us both.”
Debbie Allen, (Community fundraiser for the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity), said: “It’s wonderful to have Ed and Jason’s support and lovely to hear how they both want to give something back to help their local hospital. It’s our mission to power-up our NHS in north, east and mid Devon, and we hope Ed’s calendar will help us to continue to do this in 2024.”
