Rugby Legend Tim Stimpson Pulls Pints for Punters at the Double Locks, Exeter

He’s enjoyed a fantastic career including time with the Newcastle Falcons, Leicester Tigers, Leeds Tykes and England, but now rugby star Tim Stimpson is heading to Exeter to pull pints for the locals.

On the 15th September, the Double Locks will be hosting a Players At The Pumps evening raising money for the children’s charity of rugby Wooden Spoon.

Guests can have their pint pulled by Tim on the evening, before enjoying a burger and a pint followed by a question and answer with the player.

Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby, which helps disadvantaged and disabled  children and young people. One area of Wooden Spoon which The Duke’s Head event will help  is HITZ (hitzrugby.com), which works together with Premiership Rugby, uses rugby to increase young people’s resilience, self-reliance and confidence to give them skills to get back into education, apprenticeships and vocational training.

Tickets cost £10 including the burger and drink and can be purchased at the pub.

Enjoy dinner and drinks with a famous rugby face at the Double Locks this September.
