Summer fizz fundraiser success

The Family Law Company invited local businesses along to its Balliol office in Southernhay for fun, fizz and sweet treats to raise funds for local domestic abuse charities.

Along with prosecco and cream teas provided for attendees, the organisers held a raffle with prizes including bottles of wine, chocolates and flowers.

The event was a great success, with an impressive turn out. On the day, funds of just under £160 were raised, and this number is still increasing.

The money is being raised for Splitz Support Services, Safe and Devon Rape Crisis, local DA charities that rely on fundraising efforts to help them continue their important work.

Event organiser, Lisa McLaughlin says: “It was great to see so many familiar faces gathering together to support such a worthy cause, thank you to all those that came and contributed.”
