A vintage year at Pebblebed Vineyard for Hospiscare
Wine tasting enthusiasts are set enjoy this year’s Open Day at Pebblebed Vineyard, Topsham in aid of Hospiscare.
Pebblebed Vineyard owner Geoff Bowen will offer hourly tours throughout Sunday 8 September to members of the public, with the chance to taste the Devonshire grape at its best. Visitors taking the tasting tour will uncover the processes involved in wine-making, and reap fruitful rewards in the tasting session afterwards!
The vineyard and wine tasting tours seek to raise vital funds for Hospiscare, the local charity providing free palliative care services to those with life-limiting illnesses. Last year the Pebblebed Open Day raised over £3,000 for the charity, but the Hospiscare staff are hoping to do even better this year.
Susie Healey, Hospiscare fundraiser said: “we are delighted Pebblebed are kindly hosting another tour for Hospiscare. We are looking forward to a fantastic day”.
