Wednesday 30th April will see approximately 40 Interserve employees embark on a 51 mile cycle ride.

Interserve, the international support services and construction group, are helping to raise vital funds for the Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education by embarking on a 51 mile office to office cycle challenge. The route will start at their Plymouth office in the Royal William Yard and complete at the company’s regional head office in Exeter.

The riders will leave Plymouth at 9.30am and ride the 51miles across Dartmoor to their Exeter office in Sowton. The cyclists hope to arrive in Exeter by 3.30pm, with a stop at the Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education around 2.30-3pm.

In May, five Interserve employees from the South West will embark on a 270 mile cycle ride over 3 days from London to Paris to raise money for ERADE .

The money raised will go towards creating a new building for the academy.

Ed Wilson, Contracts Manager, said:

“I am very excited to be taking on both the office to office cycle ride and then the London to Paris cycle challenge and all in aid of raising money for such a fantastic cause. The months of training and hard work leading up to both events will all have been worthwhile knowing that we are contributing to providing much needed new accommodation for the students at the Academy.”
