Queen Elizabeth’s School Sixth Form tops the tables again!
We are delighted that the School Performance League tables recognise once again the outstanding results that students achieve in Queen Elizabeth’s School Sixth Form. The results are available from the Government’s school performance website but the headlines are:
- QE students achieved the highest average point score of any comprehensive school in Devon.*
- QE students achieved a B grade on average in their best 3 A levels, the best result for any comprehensive school in Devon.
- QE students made better progress in our Sixth Form than students in every Independent school in Devon.
Head of Sixth Form, Lucy Jones, commented “We are delighted to be celebrating another outstanding set of results from 2017 which place us as one of the best sixth form providers in Devon. At the heart of everything we do here at QE is the belief that every student is an individual. Our small tutor groups and class sizes allow students to flourish; our busy enrichment programme supports students to become well-rounded, confident young people. We are very proud of our sixth form students and their achievements.”
Principal, Rupert Poole, commented “Another stunning set of results - we are delighted with the progress and the high outcomes for our students, this on top of excellent support for transition to university, makes QE Sixth Form the place to be!”
