Come and enjoy the beautifully well established, landscaped garden with wide range of planting by expert hands-on gardeners (Edward and Carolyn). The house and gardens have been owned and tended by the family for over 80 years.
The garden has been developed, as a pleasure resource, over the past 40 years, having formerly grown fruit and vegetables for the war effort, and then continuing as a market garden. Today the nursery remains an international commercial horticulture business.
The grounds cover some 40 acres, parts of which are very steep, but have lovely views of the Exe estuary.
Lots of unusual and different species to interest and inspire you
NB Access is moderate for wheelchairs and buggies – there are gravelled and grass paths which are pretty much on the level. Probably easier if the wheelchair is motorised
