Blockbuster films showing this summer at the Open Air Cinema at Exmouth’s Queen’s Drive Space

Blockbuster films at the Open Air Cinema, free live gigs, local theatre, circus entertainment, the Big Band sound, a Devon Rum and Reggae Festival, a one-day music festival Maer Rocks raising funds for the RNLI and a dance beach party – Exmouth’s Queen’s Drive Space is buzzing with activity this summer with a top line up of things to do for all the family.

There’s something for everyone at this glorious seafront site - a free Jurassic themed children’s play site for the kids and nearby food stalls, a bar and seating area where you can keep an eye on your young ones and enjoy some refreshments too.

The events area of the ‘Space’ is packed full of entertainment during the long summer holidays with an array of activities.

For film buffs there’s the Open Air Cinema which will be showing twelve blockbuster films from Tuesday 30 July to Thursday 29 August.

On Musical Tuesday’s there’s Bohemian Rhapsody (July 30, 7.30pm, Cert 12A), Mamma Mia (August 13, 7.30pm, Cert PG) and the Sound of Music (August 27, 7.30pm, Cert U).

On Wicked Wednesday’s we have Pretty Woman (July 31, 7.30pm, Cert 15), The Greatest Showman (August 14, 7.30pm, Cert PG) and Breakfast at Tiffany’s (August 28, 7.30pm, Cert PG).

Our Family Matinee Wednesday afternoon films are How to Train Your Dragon (July 31, 2.30pm, Cert PG), School of Rock (August 14, 2.30pm, Cert U) and Mary Poppins Returns (August 28, 2.30pm, Cert U).

Our Big Thursday films are The Blue Brothers (August 1, 7.30pm, Cert 15), Top Gun (August 15, 7.30pm, Cert 12A) and the Italian Job (August 29, 7.30pm, Cert PG).
