Crafts, information and wildlife activities come to Exmouth
A fun-filled family day is being held on Exmouth's Maer Local Nature Reserve on Friday August 4 and East Devon District Council 's Countryside team will be there along with a number of other wildlife organisations.
The day starts at 10am where local Tai Chi instructor, Sam Forder will run a free 30 minute Tai Chi taster session.
The fun continues with a range of information and activities on offer including bug hunting, rockpooling and natural crafts. The event will have stalls from a number of organisations including the RSPB, Devon Loves Dogs and the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust.
Countryside Trainee ranger, Laura Goble, who is behind the day said: "Exmouth is such a busy and vibrant town with lots of organisations working across the area to protect the beautiful countryside and coastal environment. A Maervellous Day on the Maer, brings these groups together and families can drop in, find out more about them and have some fun.’’
A Maervellous Day on the Maer is a free event with activities for all ages. Donations will be accepted by the different organisations to cover craft materials and activities. There is pay and display parking available nearby.
