The Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts show returns to Exeter this weekend with over 180 exhibitors showcasing crafty creations and the very latest products and trends from the crafting world.

Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned expert you’ll be inspired by what you see, have the opportunity to meet the experts and stock up on supplies from around the world.

One feature simply too big to miss is A Cardigan for Cardigan - a five-metre-wide work of knitted art designed by Lisa Hellier and created over nine months by the people of Cardigan - celebrating the town’s 900 year heritage.  You’ll be amazed by the detail as you get up close to this woolly mammoth of a display!

Show-goers will also be able to see the beautiful intricacy and skill demonstrated by the floral quilts created by the Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles. This touring exhibition, based on the theme ‘The Living World’ has been inspired by British flowers and more exotic flora seen by quilters on holiday. You’ll be transported to a British summertime garden as you bask in these exceptional quality hand-created works.

Hobbyists can take part in demonstrations and a programme of quick and easy workshops and talks is available throughout the weekend. Lively on-stand demos will allow visitors to try out new ideas, methods and the latest papercrafting and card-making supplies!
Workshops include sessions with Festival of Japan Crafts, JG Beads, New Forest Mohair and more! Attendees are advised to book a workshop spaces on arrival to avoid disappointment.
