Be part of Oxjam Exeter! Production, sound and venue managers required

Oxjam Exeter 2013 is part of a national music festival. The main event during the festival will be the Oxjam Exeter Takeover 2013, featuring up to 120 acts performing at multi-venues across Exeter on 19 and 20 October. There will also be fundraising activities and warm-up gigs to watch out for prior to the Takeover weekend.

The Exeter Daily is getting behind Oxjam Exeter, as it was revealed today that we will be be the headline sponsor of this fantastic event, highlighting the very best of local talent and helping a worthy cause. Oxjam began in 2006, with the aim of creating a network of music-loving people across the UK, all united by a shared goal - to raise money to fight poverty and suffering around the world. Six years on and they're still going strong, with hundreds of incredible gigs taking place each October.

Oxjam Exeter 2013 have the following team vacancies (voluntary) available:

Production Manager
We require a production manager to coordinate all of our venue managers across the city for the Takeover weekend (19/20 Oct). You must be friendly, confident and have excellent organisational skills. Some experience of sound tech is pretty important.

Sound Technicians
We require experienced sound technicians to assist with gigs taking place all over the city on the Takeover weekend (19/20th Oct). If you can spare half a day/a day/a weekend then please get in touch with the production team: e-mail oxjamexeterproduction@gmail.com

Venue Manager
We are looking for a venue manager to help out on our Takeover weekend (19/20th Oct). Responsibilities include liaising with the chosen venue, co-coordinating artists and sound equipment.

All roles are voluntary positions required until the end of October.
