Classical Concerts taking place at RAMM
Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum Development Trust has announced that Rathbone Investment Management is sponsoring the third series of classical concerts at the museum in April, May and June 2014.
Following the successful concert series held in the Spring, last year, RAMM’s Development Trust has organised another series of classical concerts. The series will start with one of the most celebrated cellists performing on the international stage, Raphael Wallfisch with his regular duo partner, pianist, John York on Wednesday 2nd April at 7.30pm.
heir programme will include Beethoven’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in A Op.69, Debussy’s Sonata in G minor for Cello & Piano and Brahms’ Sonata for Cello & Piano in F Op.99.
On Wednesday 7th May, Tom Poster, pianist and winner of numerous national and international prizes will be playing Schubert, Beethoven, Chopin and Ravel and to close the season, The Jubilee Quartet who are supported by the Tillett Trust Young Artists Platform, will be playing Mozart, Beethoven and Schumann on Wednesday 4 June.
All concerts commence at 7.30pm in Gallery 20 where the British Wildlife Photographer Awards will be hung. Museum doors open at 6.30pm. Drinks are available prior to concert and during interval. Tickets cost £18 (concessions £16) each or Season tickets costs £50 (concessions £44).
